🚗 Getting to the Cabin The cabin is accessed via a single-lane gravel mountain road, which includes a few large potholes and an uphill climb. In some spots, tires may briefly spin —this is normal for Smoky roads. That said, most standard vehicles can reach the cabin without issue. Our Amazon drivers regularly make deliveries in small cars—even at night. For the most comfortable experience, we recommend an SUV or vehicle with higher ground clearance. 4-wheel drive is not required, except during snow or ice conditions. We simply like to set clear expectations: this is not a paved resort community—it’s an authentic Smoky Mountain setting, complete with a true mountain road. Wildlife Notice The home is located on a remote mountain property situated on 1.5 acres. Wildlife is very common in the area, including bears, coyotes, raccoons, an occasional bobcat, and other animals, which are frequently seen on our exterior cameras. For your safety, please admire wildlife only from the decks and do not feed or approach any animals. There is an upper and lower parking area shown in the pictures. Sorry but NO PETS ARE ALLOWED. Owners stay at the home often and have severe allergies. • Pest Management: Monthly pest control is conducted, but bugs are common in the mountainous area. Please report any pest concerns. • Noise: Located on a secluded mountain, a small amount of road noise at times my be audible from the valley below due to the clear mountain air. • Amenities: • Gas grill: A backup propane tank is stored beneath the end table by the outdoor couch to ensure uninterrupted grilling. • Fire pit: A spare full propane tank is kept under the end table near the fire pit seating. • Holiday Stays: Starting November 1st, the home will feature Christmas decorations, and the listing will be updated with new photos.
